FAQs

  • The deal is still currently in progress, but we expect to close everything by the end of the year. After closing, we plan to keep both SGB taprooms operating as-is for a short period of time while we work on design elements, new furniture, signage, textures, etc., as that stuff takes a lot of time. Once everything is lined up and delivered, we will first schedule a closure of the West Nashville (Nations) taproom and spend 2-3 weeks flipping that over to a Xul taproom. We'll repeat the same process with the East Nashville (Douglas Ave) taproom after we get the Nations one up and running smoothly.

  • Yes, but in a limited capacity. Jared Welch (current SGB owner and production manager) will remain in place and will run Xul Nashville brewing operations. We will primarily brew Xul beer in Nashville to support the two taprooms, but we will definitely be keeping some of the amazing SGB brands. We don't know what all that looks like yet, but you can still expect to see some of the Hill series on the Berliner base, some of the IPAs, and definitely the B1T stouts!

  • We are planning to keep all operations running as normal. You'll still see the same friendly faces that you've grown accustomed to over the years!

  • Yes, Nashville will be getting a whole lot more PB&J! We still don't plan to distribute cans in TN at this time, but we will have can releases at both Nashville taprooms quite often! Of course, it will always be on draft at both locations.
