We are currently looking for a Host/Hostess to provide a warm welcome to all guests, provide accurate wait times and escort guest to the dining area or bar. For this role, you should have solid organizational and customer service skills to make sure each guest is having a positive dining experience.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Qualifications:

• Welcome guest in (properly greet upon arrival)
• Seat guests in the dining room area or advise about bar service.
• Manage floor chart
• Provide accurate wait-times and manage waitlist.
• Manage reservations (when applicable)
• Answer incoming calls and address customers inquiries
• Thank customers upon departure
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and merchandise area (clean, fold, re-stock).
• Coordinate with servers about available tables
• Assist wait staff as needed
• Assist guest in purchase of to-go beer and merchandise
• Respond to guest inquiries in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

Requirements:

• Ability to provide truly memorable experiences for each guest.
• Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work in standing position for long hours
• Ability to handle cash and POS System
• Ability to work in a restaurant environment
• Ability to provide high-quality work while unsupervised

We are currently looking for a Food Server for our new space at 754 Douglas Avenue in East Nashville. Ideal candidates will have serving experience blended with a passion for craft beer. Candidates must pass a background check and must have their Tennessee Server's Permit (On-Premise Permit)

  • High levels of verbal communication and active listening skills

  • A passion for craft beer and a desire to let that passion shine through in your work

  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing beer and food menu

  • Willingness to learn about both the beer menu and food menu, as well as ability to effectively recommend menu items

    • Availability to work primarily nights and weekends, as well as holidays when needed (SUNDAY’S are required)

KITCHEN

We are currently looking for a Sous Chef for L By Lauter at 5012 Centennial in the Nations.

We are looking for candidates that want to cook in an environment that will feel very different from a typical brewery menu. Whether beer or food, guests are asking for more flavorful and creative menu items than ever before and we intend to meet those demands with an elevated dining menu and dining space with rotating small plates and shareable dishes using an abundance of locally grown produce and locally raised meats.

At the helm of the food program is Andrew Coins, a very talented chef who has earned a vaunted reputation for his work in Charleston, S.C., and most recently for leading the kitchen at Miel. Please respond to this job posting if this is something that piques your interest.

  • 2 years culinary experience

  • Cook all food items according to Chef specifications

  • Maintain a clean working environment at all times

  • Label and store all food, supplies, and cooking materials based on Health Department Standards

  • Assist in training of new employees

  • Maintain quality and consistency to all menu and prep items

  • Participate in daily cleaning projects

  • Participate in proper storage of daily ordered goods

Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for 8 hours at a time

  • Enjoy working in a team environment

  • Proper use of knives and kitchen equipment

  • Lift up to 50 pounds at a time

  • Self Motivated

  • 1 year of kitchen experience preferred but not mandatory

  • Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Strong organization and time management skills

Pay:

  • $20 per hour
