Our Beer

Creativity On Tap

We are boundary-pushers, constantly evolving what beer is and what it can taste like. Our ingredients aren’t always Reinheitsgebot-approved but that’s okay. We like it that way. We think you will too.

Our beer is small-batch and experimental, and as a result it's usually not around for very long. We have beers we make again and again, but we don't have a flagship in any traditional sense. See below for what’s currently available, as well as some of our recurring series that you're likely to encounter next time you visit us.

in the rotation

Our brewing team is constantly evolving, pushing the envelope, and trying new things. As such, we can't list every beer we make, however here are some of our most common "series", as we like to call them. Each one has its own unique spin on the base beer to keep it fresh and exciting. And even when they're different, odds are if you liked one in the series, you'll like the others!

Originally named as a play on the Berry Hill neighborhood in Nashville, TN; this series has taken on a life of its own, as our base lactose sour ale that sees a massive addition of fruit purees and fun ingredients. Look for variations on our Hill beers that could include - Double Fruited, Imperial, Marshmallow, and more!

Teaming up with our friends at CHOPPER, we work with them to recreate flavors from some of our favorite tiki cocktails. The base beer here can vary between styles, but the inspiration is always the same.

Throwback vibes drive the creativity for these DIPAs, which are single hopped, oated, and brewed with only late hop additions. Look for the label with a pun on 90s TV show names.

Copra Kai

We love coconut here so much, that we had to make at least one series completely revolve around it. This is a milk stout that always features lush coconut, that gets paired with other complimentary flavors.

BAtch One Theory

One of our favorite programs at SGB, this is our never-to-be-replicated (the exact same way) barrel aged imperial stout series. Usually with adjuncts, but when a very special barrel speaks to us, you can at times find a "naked" version as well. All B1Ts are bottled and released on a very limited basis; with draft showing up at special events only.
